The Tipo is powered by a turbocharged 1.4 petrol engine with 120hp or a 1.6 diesel engine with 120hp. Both engines have start and stop technology. Features in the range include a new 7” digital instrument cluster, a 7” touchscreen, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, full LED headlights, 17” alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Path Detection and front and rear parking sensors.

Design

The Tipo is available in two distinct styles. The Tipo Cross has rugged good looks, with silver side sills, bumper trim, roof bars and 17” alloys. The Tipo Life is more subdued with elegant bumpers. The Life is also available as a Sports Wagon.

Drive

The turbocharged engine range is powerful and efficient, with the diesel model returning over 50mpg combined. A smooth ride and sharp handling make the Tipo a dream to drive on every road. The Safety Plus pack adds Adaptive Cruise Control.

Practicality

The Tipo excels when it comes to space with a huge 440-litre boot and abundant rear legroom. This is one of the most practical family hatchbacks on the market. Keyless entry makes access easy, and all models have 60-40 split-folding rear seats.
